I am living my passion.

Many years ago, my chronic migraines were helped through homeopathy prescribed to me by my M.D./Homeopath. I thought nothing more about those little white pillules for a very long time, other than how helpful they were.

Fast-forward a few years to when I needed help addressing some physical issues that had been plaguing me and were not being helped in any meaningful way through conventional or alternative measures, regardless of how many I tried and how diligently I followed the advice and regimens.

I happened upon the website of Joette Calabrese. I tried the remedy her site suggested for a minor but irritating condition, and after having quick success, I began following her blogs. After many months of following her blog and hearing what she had to say about homeopathy, I decided to book an appointment. I truly had nothing to lose. Within two weeks of beginning treatment with her, I felt so much better than I had in years that I dropped everything and started taking her courses. Within a couple of months, I had finished everything she had to offer and I was enrolled in Homeopathy School International, a nationally accredited school located in Boulder, CO. Because I wanted nothing more than to keep learning more homeopathy, I earned my certification in classical homeopathy, CHom.

I have completed advanced studies through CHE/Middlesex University, England, earning a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Homeopathy. I have added to my knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology and Pathology & Disease through The School of Health located in Gloucestershire, England, completing both of these courses.

Continuing education is very important to me. I am currently enrolled in a Nutrition Advisor course, revisiting an old passion of mine. I regularly attend in-depth webinars on various aspects of homeopathy (see sidebar for examples). I have finished a second Master Homeopathic Practitioner Programme through CHE as well as working toward full certification in the Bach Flower Essences through the Bach Centre in the UK. (I have completed the Level One Bach Centre course, as well as Bach Therapy for Homeopaths.) I have enjoyed entering the exciting world of Gemmotherapy and am excited to be learning this new (for me) healing modality.

Did I mention that I can't get enough of homeopathy? It truly is one of my passions! My first passion, however, is my family … my husband and my 3 delightful sons.

I never dreamed this would be my life and now I can't imagine what my life would be without homeopathy.

“You should call Julia.” I say this to my friends all the time. I was diagnosed ten+ years ago with a tumor that main stream MDs haven’t found a way to cure. Surgery and bone removal are standard procedure. I have had 2 removed with surgery and then homeopathy entered my life (and Julia). A 3rd one was discovered, I told her about my tumor and it came back again. She asked well thought out questions and researched the tumor and relevant remedies. Julia came back with a 2 month plan to address it. I did the protocol and I just had a checkup scan, they cannot find the tumor.
